I found it horrible how the African Americans were treated as property. They were sold as if they were materials. I also found it sad how they were forced to be separated from family family members. Lastly, how they weren't treated like humans.

After seeing that short film i realized hoe horrible African American were treated. They were treated like animals with the way they used them neck, wrist, and feet chains. Also the poor shelter they lived in. Also, how they where seperated from there love ones. Lastly, they way they where thrown overboard off the ship because they caught a disease.

After seeing this film , it made me realize that Africans didn't have much respect. They separated their children from their parents & sell them . Also , if you became sick to stop the disease from spreading they would throw these Africans of the boat. It upsets me that they would sleep like on top of each other with no sheets or blankets. This is the worst life that anyone would live!.

After watching the video things I found interesting that many Africans were not treated with respect. 2nd thing I found interesting is they were killed which is really painful. 3rd thing I find interesting is they got kicked out of their homeland. For last they also got separated from love ones.

while watching this video i noticed how the white people treated the slaves as if they were animals. They seperated them from their families. They did not even care if they were healthy while on the ships. And they would beat them with weapons ...

Its crazy how a person can be taken by their home and put on a ship not knowing how long the voyage or would they make it t their destination. The white man saw these "negros" as dirt as peasants not a person because a person would have some respect they were treated like animals The slaves were sold broken from their families checked for any sicness then off to a master to work your entire life.

After watching the video I see just how bad Africans were treated. First, they were forcefully separated from their families. Also, they were treated as items instead of people and were forced onto a ship crammed with other Africans going to the New World. They were forced into a new subserviant life and this was a major vioalation of their basic human rights.

Immediately after the video I felt as if Africans were viewed as objects. They were stacked up on top of each other as if they were eported goods. They were also sold and seen as a commodity. Africans were treated inhumane as they were chained up and not given any type of freedom.

After watching this film, I realized that African Americans were treated very poorly. For example, the African American were stacked up on top of each other like if they were exported goods or objects. In addition, One thing I found interesting was that many African American were killed and miss treated. Another thing I found interesting was that if any African became sick on the boat they would throw them off the boats so the disease won't spread . Finally, the last thing I found interesting was that they had many poor shelters with people dieing of all types of diseases.

The slaves were been treated badly, most of them died and am guessing it was probably our of starvation. They were been wiped by the white men and sometimes they have to stay in a hole for almost a year to just board on the next year & I found that very sad because that's someone's life u playing with

Upon watching the video, it was already seen how cruel the Africans were being treated.Their voyage across the ocean seems to prepare them for they faced in the new world. Its disgusting and barbaric how the white people dehumanized them in order to have the Africans in their full control. Many suffered and i'm sure had severe trauma.

Something that I Immediately noticed after the video was that Africans were treated as basically cargo and objects . They were stacked up on top of each other on beds like they were imported goods. They were also sold and seen as property or as an item at a store. Africans were treated inhumane as they were chained up,had no rights no voice and no freedom.

After watching this film "The Middle Passage" i learned that the african civilization was treated with little respect. Leaving them to die uncared for with no remorse by the Britains. I was disgusted seeing how the afticans had to sleep piled up on each other with little air and barely enough food or water to keep them alive and/or healthy. In addition to that fact even when they caught diseases no aid was of assistance leaving them to die slowly and painfully. Africans during this Time period had by far the worst life experience 😢🙈

My immediate reaction when i first watched video was sadness because africans were treated as objects and treated badly. African slaves were so skinny that they probably didnt eat the whole day. African slaves slept in rows above one above another. They were chained while working. Its been estimated that between thirtyand fifty million africans were subjected to the horrendous triangular trade system.

I find it terrifying how the Africans were being humiliated by their superiors. Being treated like animals also. And being separated from the one's you love has to hurt. At the end the Africans was dying from diseases. But before that they were being held in the triangular trade system.

After watching the video "The Middle Passage" I was disturbed at how Africans were treated. It was a tragedy on how Africans were treated as property and not human beings. Mothers, fathers, and even their kids were sold and separated not knowing they'd see each other again. They didn't have any freedom. No rights to fight against the government to say that the way they were being treated was very unlawful. people were starved and beaten, sometimes to death. Africans were also forced to stay in a hole to boarded on a ship a year later to be someone's "property." Africans were treated wrongfully in which they didn't deserve at all because of the color of their skin.

Watching this video made me appreciate the Africans more because of what they had to go through. Watching them get treated as if they were nothing. The way they had to live was just sad and frustrating. The fact that they did not have enough food and water plus they still had to work is just tragic . They didn't deserve the treatment they were getting.

watching this movie really showed me what real evil looks like. millions of african americans were taken from there home land , seperated from their family and loved ones just to be distributed like a product on the market. hundreds died just on the diseases caught on the way to north america just to be killed and thrown off the ship.
